A complex fault required thorough investigation
Finding the cause required systematic diagnosis. The investigation used CAN measurements, voltage measurements, an oscilloscope and wiring diagrams. The findings narrowed the fault down to its actual cause.
Only the faulty component was replaced
Once the fault was located, only the failed component was replaced. Multiple working parts were not replaced by trial and error or as a precaution. After the repair, the system operated normally.
